Denkwerk gives transparency to Swiss Migros Group’s sustainability


Agency advises Swiss business group on sustainability in the web / Easy user activation via integrated platform
Denkwerk is responsible for the relaunch of the online sustainability information portal of Migros, the Swiss retailing company. The new interactive platform “Generation M” links Migros’s content on issues of social relevance centrally and with clarity. The aim of denkwerk’s strategic and conceptual consultation was to reflect Migros’s sustainability tradition, and to make the content easily accessible by collating the information with transparency and authenticity.
“Generation M” draws the user in interactively, and sensitises them to issues such as healthy eating, sustainable consumption and caring for the environment. denkwerk’s concept includes various features that use games to activate the user with relevant topics and move them on to the background information. They include interactive tools on subjects such as health, which includes a breakfast and weekly planner and the nutrition test with which users can optimise their own diet. Sustainability is an important principle in Migros’s corporate strategy. Its declared intent is to work together to find solutions that are economically, socially and ecologically balanced. In “Generation M”, the company combines targeted promises to the next generation that are implemented in specific projects for a sustainable future.
