MCKINSEY ON SUSTAINABILITY & RESOURCE PRODUCTIVITY

McKinsey recently sent us their first edition of “McKinsey on Sustainability & Resource Productivity”, a publication from McKinsey’s Sustainability & Resource Productivity practice. The publication is available here.
This issue is devoted to approaches that will help companies, governments and other organizations seize the opportunity to transform the management of resources and drive sustainable growth. Many of the articles emphasize the important role of innovation to overcome the resource challenges in the coming decades and each contains practical ideas about how to get started.
Topics covered range from energy technology innovation and resource productivity in manufacturing to new models for sustainable growth in emerging markets, transforming water economies and reducing deforestation. The issue opens with an interview with Chad Holliday, Chairman of Bank of America and former Chairman and CEO of DuPont, who talks about how those organizations that excel at managing resources and working across institutional boundaries will set a new standard for success.
They have asked us to send views and comments to: McKinsey_on_SRP@mckinsey.com
