Migros tests convenience format


Swiss retailer trials smaller, commuter-targeted stores in the country
Migros has revealed that it is testing a new convenience store format located near railway stations.
The stores, which are presented under the Migros-Express banner, are located near railways stations and are targeted at commuters on the go, Planet retail reported.
The first store openings were in Rapperswil and Luzern, with the third located in Zurich-Alstetten, the group said.
