We Use Sustainable Packaging

Take-Out Food With An Environmental Conscious In addition to providing delicious food for our customers, we believe we have a responsibility to minimize our impact on the environment. We strive to incorporate reusable, eco-friendly materials whenever possible to reduce waste and provide alternatives to traditional packaging for our meals.   All of our locations (Johns Creek, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs) use containers that can be stored in the freezer, and are safe to use when heating meals directly in a microwave or traditional oven.
By using these renewable products, we reduce the dependence on petroleum-based materials for plastics and other non-biodegradable materials.   Healthy Food In Healthy Packaging We also believe that healthy food deserves healthy packaging. Our plant-based containers do not contain any of the additives found in other packaging materials.
Traditional food container materials like styrofoam often contain chemicals and other potentially harmful substances such as chlorine, plastics, and bleach. Our non-plant based containers are made with high-quality food-grade plastic that does not contain Bisphenol-A, also known as BPA. As you enjoy your phenomenal food that is free of preservatives and artificial colors and flavors, you can also enjoy peace of mind knowing your meal is packaged in safe, non-toxic containers.

Our normal paper bags are made from 95% recycled content that minimizes the need for deforestation of raw materials. We also offer stylish 100% cotton reusable bags to encourage our customers to further reduce the use of disposable plastic and paper bags.   Even Our Gift Cards Are "Green" Our gift cards are packaged in novel, plantable seed paper. The biodegradable eco-paper is made with post-consumer materials, meaning no trees are harmed in the production process. This special paper is embedded with real plant seeds! When the gift card holder paper is planted in a pot of soil, the paper composts away and the seeds germinate to become beautiful flowers.

When we offer food samples in our take-out stores and at events, Christophe's To Go uses tasting spoons made from renewable FSC paperboard. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification is considered the gold standard for sustainable forest management. These convenient spoons are compliant for composting and break down in 4-10 weeks.

They can also be recycled and are made in the USA, further reducing their carbon footprint as compared to traditional plastic utensils made overseas. -
