NEW GLUTEN FREE FROZEN BRAND GEORGIA’S CHOICE LAUNCHES INTO ASDA & TESCO’S

Georgia’s Choice is a new gluten free brand has launched new frozen gluten free products to the market.
The brand is owned by Red House Foods, a privately owned dedicated gluten free manufacturer based in Wiltshire.
The Free From market is currently worth £303 million according to Mintel but is predicted to grow to £519 million by 2016, with further growth opportunities identified if brands and products can provide mainstream product quality.
Marketing Manager Pauline Stiles said:
“Our aim is to provide gluten free versions of best-selling family products, providing good quality and taste that can match or even exceed their gluten-containing

equivalents so that no-one needs to compromise.
“As a parent of a child needing a gluten free diet Pauline also said “these products enabled me to provide some great tasting food that allowed my daughter to feel normal as she was eating the foods her friends liked to eat.”
The Georgia’s Choice range launches with their Gluten Free Chicken Bites and Chicken Grills into Asda & Tesco’s.
The Gluten Free Chicken Bites were recently voted winner in the Food service category of the 2012 Free From Awards.
Both products are made from 100% British chicken breast meat, coated in breadcrumbs and contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
They can be cooked from frozen in 20 minutes to offer a convenient solution for lunch or supper or even lunch boxes.
All the products are prepared, with stringent quality controls and testing procedures in place to ensure products are gluten free.
The products are gluten and wheat free and carry the Coeliac UK crossed grain symbol for safe gluten free foods.
As well as providing the Georgia’s Choice brand, Red House Foods is also an approved own label supplier, providing own label frozen gluten free products into multiple grocery.
It also has a range of frozen gluten free ready meals and coated products available to the foodservice sector through the distributor 3663.
The company is currently developing plans to extend both its ranges and distribution.
