H.B. Fuller adhesives suitable for food packaging

H.B. Fuller has launched three new products in its Flextra line of water-based, dry-bond, hybrid laminating adhesives for flexible packaging of food products.
The first, Flextra PD2243 (suited for stand-up pouches) reportedly offers clarity when used with various films. It also is said to offer high bond strength, and chemical and heat resistance.

The second adhesive in the line, Flextra PD2167, provides good bond strength, clarity, and gravure cylinder cell release for optimized transfer and clean-up, according to the manufacturer. The base product in the line, Flextra PD2207, is geared toward bakery, snack, and confectionery packaging.
