Flahavan's launches Irish coarse cut oatmeal

Flahavan’s, Ireland’s oat producer has launched a new addition to its UK range – Irish Coarse Cut Oatmeal.
The Irish Coarse Cut Oatmeal joins Flahavan’s current range including: Organic Porridge Oats, Quick Oats, Irish Porridge Oats, Irish Organic Jumbo Oats and Multi seed.
The new addition coincides with the launch of a new range of packaging, exclusive to the UK, following the completion of a three year major rebranding exercise.
John Noonan, Sales and Marketing Director said:
“Although the selection of oats on shelf in the UK is vast the coarse cut offering is fairly low.
“After a successful launch in the domestic market we decided to launch in the UK.
“Demand for alternative health products is increasing and Flahavan’s Coarse Cut Oatmeal ticks all the boxes for today’s health conscious consumer.
“We decided to coincide the launch with the launch of our new packaging.
“The new packaging creates a distinctive livery for the Flahavan’s brand, highlighting the premium quality of their Irish oats and strengthening shelf visibility in supermarkets nationwide.”
Flahavan’s has been operating in Kilmacthomas, Co Waterford for over 200 years, making it one of the longest family run businesses in Ireland.
The Irish Coarse Cut Oatmeal is made by kilning and steam cooking the oats and cutting them into smaller pieces, resulting in a textured porridge.
